Do I need a visa to visit Armenia?

Citizens of most countries can enter and stay in Armenia without a visa or will be granted one on arrival. Please verify your country’s status via the official website of Armenia’s Visa.

Spring months of April through June and autumn between September and October provide for the best weather and scenic views. Winters are cold, though, for those who fancy the snow.

By and large, Armenia is very safe. The country is free from petty crimes, while the locals themselves are known for their gracious hospitality.

Dress comfortably being modest especially if theatre visits are those that may include churches. Layers are a good idea because mountain weather can really change in minutes.
